Comments: This region of the southern constellation Ara has numerous fascinating emission nebulae which are best seen in narrowband. Here, the claw-like NGC6188 reaches towards the center of the image while NGC6164-5 with its delicate outer shell watches from the lower left. Also seen, just barely, is planetary nebula PK335-01 1 in the upper left of the image. In this image SII is mapped to red, while H-alpha and OIII are mapped to green and blue respectively.
